- What is e-Kad?
- e-Kad is a digital wedding card by Akad for couples in Malaysia. You build your card in the Studio with music and animation, share one link on WhatsApp, and guests open it in their phone browser to RSVP and send wishes. Building and previewing are free, then RM99 once to publish the card for one wedding.
- How much does e-Kad cost?
- RM99 once for one wedding, whether you have 200 guests or 1,000. No subscription, no add-ons, no per-guest fees.
- Is e-Kad free?
- Building and previewing your card are free. For guests to open it, you pay RM99 and press Publish.
- How can I pay?
- You can pay by credit card, FPX, DuitNow or Touch 'n Go through HitPay.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes, if your card is not published yet. Ask within 14 days of paying, on the publish page or at support@akad.com.my, and we refund the full amount. Once a card is published, the payment cannot be refunded.
- Do guests need to download an app?
- No. Guests open the full card in their phone browser, with music, animation, RSVP and wishes. No app, no account, just the invitation code.
- Can I edit the card after publishing?
- Yes, any time. Open the Studio, make the change, press Save, and guests see the latest version at the same link. No limit on edits.
- Can I use my own song?
- Yes. In the Studio, upload an MP3 or M4A up to 10 minutes and 20 MB, pick the second it starts, and it plays the moment a guest opens the cover. When you upload, you confirm you have the right to use the song, and a song with a valid copyright complaint is taken down.
- How does the invitation code work?
- Every card has one short code you choose. Share the public link and the code travels with it; share the private link and guests type it in themselves.
- Can I change the link name after sharing?
- The link name can be personalised only once, so choose it before you share. Content and style can change any time. The invitation code can change too, but one-tap links already shared will ask for the new code.
