Make it yourself

How to make your own digital wedding card.

You build the card yourself in the e-Kad Studio, in the browser on your phone or computer. Sign in with Google, Apple or email, the same account as the Akad Planner app. Pay only once the card looks the way you want it.

Five steps

  1. Pick a design

Open the gallery and pick one of 30 designs. Each is a full card you can open and scroll the way your guests will. Press Start building, and that design opens in the Studio.

  2. Fill in your wedding details

Names, date, venue and the day's schedule. Add RSVP, a song, guest wishes and gift details if you want them.

  3. Make it yours

Change the words and photos, reorder the card's sections and hide the ones you do not need. Each section has a few layouts, and you can change the theme, the font style and the text colour at any time.

  4. Preview on your phone

See the card the way guests will, before you pay anything.

  5. Publish and share

Press Publish, choose the link name, and share one link on WhatsApp. Guests open it straight on their phone.

Common questions

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests open the card in their phone browser from one link, with no app and no account. An invite code keeps your wedding details from anyone who finds the link.

Can I change the design to suit us?

Yes. The words, the photos, the card's sections and their order are all yours. For the look, you choose the theme, a layout for each section, the font style and the text colour from options we have prepared. The colour you pick is adjusted so the writing stays easy to read on guests' phones.

Can the card be in English?

Yes. The card can be in Malay or English, with a Hijri date if you want one.

Can I still change it after publishing?

Yes, any time. Open the Studio, change what you need, press Save, and guests see the latest version at the same link. There is no limit on edits, so a wrong date or a misspelt name can be fixed even after the card has gone out.
